For pathology labs and diagnostic centres

Home collection slots, report-ready messages and a private shared inbox for labs and diagnostic centres.

Sound familiar?

It is 7:10 in the morning. Ravi, who does home collections, is already at his second building in Gomti Nagar, and the counter phone has not stopped. "Fasting mein paani pi sakte hain?" "Papa ka sugar test hai, ghar se sample le jaoge?" "Kal ka report kab tak aayega?" The receptionist answers from her own WhatsApp, the same phone that holds her family photos.

By evening, the reports go out the same way: PDFs forwarded from a personal number, one by one. Patients who did not see the message call the lab to ask. When a staff member leaves, months of patient chats leave with her phone.

Nobody means any harm. But a patient's report is private, and a lab should be able to say exactly who sent it, to whom, and when.

What changes

GrowthDwar gives your lab a website with booking, a shared inbox on the official WhatsApp Business Platform from Meta, and poster designs. One dashboard, in English or Hindi.

A lab website that answers the first questions

You answer simple questions: lab name, logo, photos, tests and packages with rates, a short "about us", hours, address and Google Maps location. The website is written from those answers, in one of 8 designs.

Name tests the way prescriptions and patients do: "CBC", "Thyroid profile (T3, T4, TSH)", "HbA1c", "Full body checkup". Give each a rate and a photo. In "about us", name the pathologist, the areas you cover for home collection and any accreditation you actually hold. Skip claims like "100% accurate".

Visitors see an "Open now" status, a map with directions and a big WhatsApp button. Use the free yourname.growthdwar.com address or connect your own domain.

Home collection slots that land in one list

Choose the time-slot mode. The patient picks a service, a day and a slot from your hours, and the booking is saved with name, phone, service, day and time. They can send it to your WhatsApp in one tap, attach the prescription in the same chat, and get an "add to calendar" link.

Two tips:

  • Name home visits clearly, like "Home collection: Full body checkup", next to "Lab visit". The morning list then shows who needs a visit.
  • Slots come from your opening hours, one range per day. If collections start at 6:30 for fasting samples, start your hours at 6:30.

For the address and landmark, use WhatsApp Flows: a short form inside WhatsApp that asks for address, landmark and the patient's age.

Clear answers before the test, no reading of reports

Type "/" and a shortcut, and a saved reply goes out: /home for collection areas and charges, /prep for preparation steps your pathologist has approved, /timings for lab hours, /reporttime for when reports are usually ready.

Set the chatbot up for the counter's job:

  • A greeting with quick-reply buttons: Book a test, Home collection, Report status.
  • Keyword rules: "fasting" gets your /prep text. "Home" gets collection details and the booking link. "Report", "result", "high" or "normal" hand the chat to a person.
  • An out-of-hours message with your opening time.
  • Optional AI replies that use only the admin details you give it.

When a patient asks what a value means, the right answer is a person saying gently, "Please show this to your doctor."

Reports to the right person, nowhere else

The shared inbox puts every chat on one lab number. Reports go out as documents inside the patient's own chat, so there is a record of what was sent and by whom. Three habits help:

  • Check the patient's name and age before sending, and send only to the number that booked.
  • Tag by service, never by condition: "home collection", "senior package", "corporate". Not "diabetic".
  • Use roles and permissions so each person has only the access their work needs.

If the patient has not messaged in the last 24 hours, the report-ready message must use a format approved by Meta, and only patients who agreed to WhatsApp updates should get it. Ask at registration: "Report aur updates WhatsApp par bhejein?" WhatsApp's message charges are billed by Meta.

On the Growth and Pro plans, patients can call the lab number on WhatsApp. The desk answers in the browser, and a voice menu sorts calls: "press 1 for home collection, press 2 for report status".

Gentle reminders and checkup packages

Send campaigns to tagged patients who opted in, now or scheduled, and see delivered and read counts: a yearly checkup reminder, new Sunday hours, a senior citizen package. Never name a patient's test or report in a campaign.

Poster designs cover offers, announcements, tips and greetings for Diwali, Holi, Eid, New Year and Mother's Day, with your logo, name and phone added automatically. For tips, use only words your pathologist has checked.

Copy, change, send

These are examples. Change the names, rates and timings to match your lab.

  • Greeting with buttons
  • Saved reply for /home
  • Home collection confirmation
  • Report-ready message

A day in the life

Take an example lab, Nirmal Diagnostics in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. It is made up, here only to show the flow.

  1. At 6:30 a.m., Faiz, the coordinator, opens the dashboard. Today's home collections are listed by slot with names and phones, and the addresses sit in last night's chats. He shares the route with Ravi.

  2. At 9, the counter answers fasting questions with /prep, and a prescription photo gets a rate and a slot.

  3. At 1 p.m., a patient writes, "Mera TSH high aaya hai, kya karu?" The word "high" hands the chat to a person. The pathologist's assistant points out which values are outside the reference range and suggests he show the report to his doctor.

  4. At 4, reports are signed. Patients who messaged today get their PDF in the chat. The others who opted in get the approved report-ready message, and their reports go out as they reply.

  5. At 7, the owner picks an announcement design for Diwali week timings and shares it on the lab's WhatsApp status.

  6. At 8 p.m., the lab closes, and the out-of-hours message takes over.

Can patients book home sample collection online?

Yes. Add services like "Home collection: Full body checkup" and turn on booking by time slot. The patient picks the service, a day and a slot from your hours, the booking is saved in your dashboard, and they can send it to your WhatsApp in one tap with the prescription.

Can we send reports on WhatsApp?

Your team can send a report as a document inside the patient's chat in the shared inbox. If the patient has not messaged in the last 24 hours, start with a report-ready message in a format approved by Meta, sent only to patients who agreed to get updates on WhatsApp. Send the report after they reply.

Will the chatbot explain test values?

Set it up so it does not. Give the chatbot and AI replies only practical details like timings, rates, home collection areas and preparation steps your pathologist has approved. Use keyword rules to hand words like "report", "high" or "normal" to a person.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every account starts with a 14-day free trial, and no card is needed. Set up your website and booking, connect your lab's WhatsApp number and try it with your own team first.
