For bakeries and cake shops

Cake orders by pickup day, quick WhatsApp replies and festive posters for bakeries and cake shops.

Sound familiar?

"1 kg chocolate truffle kitne ka hai?" "Eggless milega?" "Ye wala bana doge?" followed by a photo from Pinterest. Then: "Name likhna hai, Happy 5th Birthday Aarav." Then: "Saturday 6 baje pickup." Then, two days later: "Bhaiya, mera order yaad hai na?"

One birthday cake can take a dozen messages over three days. The details live in your chat, the order lives in a notebook, and the baker at the oven sees neither. One wrong spelling on the cake, one forgotten pickup, and a family that ordered from you for years quietly goes elsewhere.

Then December arrives. Christmas plum cakes, New Year parties, office celebrations. The same questions arrive all day, while the oven needs you most.

What changes

GrowthDwar gives your bakery a website with your cakes and prices, order booking by pickup day, the official WhatsApp Business Platform from Meta with a shared inbox, and poster designs. One dashboard, in English or Hindi.

A menu that sells cakes while you bake

You answer simple questions: bakery name, type of business, logo, photos, items with prices and a photo for each, a short "about us", opening hours, address and Google Maps location. The website is written from those answers, in one of 8 designs.

A few tips for the menu:

  • Price cakes by weight: "Chocolate truffle, ₹750 per kg".
  • Put "Eggless" in the name of every eggless item. It is the question you get most.
  • Add "Photo cake" and "Theme cake" with a starting price, like "from ₹1,200 per kg", so custom orders start with a budget in mind.
  • Use photos of your own cakes. Customers want to see what you actually make.

Visitors see an "Open now" status, a map with directions and a big WhatsApp button. Link your Instagram, where many cake customers first find you, and your Google reviews. Use the free yourname.growthdwar.com address or connect your own domain.

Orders by pickup day

Choose the day-only booking mode. The customer picks the cake and the pickup day. The order is saved in your dashboard with name, phone, item and day. In one tap, the customer can send it to your WhatsApp, where you finish the details: weight, flavour, eggless or not, the message on the cake and any reference photo. They also get an "add to calendar" link, so pickup day sits in their phone.

If your counter gets crowded at pickup time, choose the time-slot mode instead, so pickups spread through the day.

You can also use WhatsApp Flows, simple forms inside WhatsApp, for a custom cake enquiry: flavour, weight, eggless, message on the cake and pickup day, all in one go.

Tip: always confirm the message on the cake in writing and ask the customer to reply "OK". Then add a private note with the exact spelling, so the baker never has to guess.

Quick answers to the same questions

Type "/" and a shortcut to send a saved reply: /eggless for your eggless list, /rates for prices, /custom for how custom orders work, /upi for payment details, /address for directions.

Let the chatbot take the first message:

  • A greeting with quick-reply buttons: Order a cake, Price list, Eggless options.
  • Keyword rules: "eggless" gets your eggless list. "Custom", "theme", "photo cake", "bulk" or "office" hands the chat to a person, so your cake designer or you can take over.
  • A menu in the visual flow builder: Cakes, Pastries, Cookies, Party orders.
  • Optional AI replies that answer using information you give it.
  • Business hours, so a late-night order gets a reply saying you will confirm in the morning.

Christmas, New Year and every birthday after

Tag customers as you chat: "birthday-march", "christmas-regular", "office-orders". When a season comes, send a campaign to the right tag, now or scheduled, and see delivered and read counts. Tag birthday orders by month, and next year you can send an offer a week before. These go only to customers who agreed to hear from you. If they have not messaged in the last 24 hours, the message must use a format approved by Meta. WhatsApp's message charges are billed by Meta.

Poster designs cover offers, new products like a new flavour, menus, and festivals and days that matter to a bakery: Christmas, New Year, Mother's Day, Diwali and Raksha Bandhan. Each comes in post, square and story sizes, with your logo, name and phone added automatically.

Counter and kitchen on the same page

Everyone replies from one business number in a shared inbox. Assign custom orders to the cake designer. Tag orders "confirmed" and "ready for pickup". Each contact profile keeps the chat history, so you can see what a family ordered last year.

Copy, change, send

These are examples. Change the names, cakes and prices to match your bakery.

  • Greeting with buttons
  • Saved reply for /eggless
  • Christmas pre-order
  • Order confirmation

A day in the life

Take an example bakery, The Cake Corner in Anna Nagar, Chennai. It is made up, here only to show the flow.

  1. At 8 a.m., Divya, the owner, opens the dashboard. Four cake orders came in overnight for Friday and Saturday pickup, each with a name, phone and item. The out-of-hours reply had already told those customers she would confirm in the morning.

  2. At 10, she confirms each order on WhatsApp and adds a private note with the message for the cake.

  3. At noon, a customer sends a Pinterest photo for a theme cake. The keyword "theme" hands it to a person, and Divya assigns it to Ramesh, the cake designer, who replies with a price and pickup options.

  4. At 3 p.m., the counter answers six "eggless?" questions with /eggless and two direction requests with /address.

  5. At 6, Divya picks a Christmas design, adds her plum cake photo and price, and downloads it for WhatsApp status and Instagram. She schedules the approved pre-order message for customers tagged "christmas-regular" who said yes to offers.

  6. At 9 p.m., the shutter comes down and the out-of-hours reply takes over.
