Privacy policy

What we collect, why we need it, who sees it and how you stay in control. In plain words.

The short version

  • We collect only what we need to run GrowthDwar for your business.
  • Your customers’ chats, contacts and bookings belong to you. We handle them only to run your account.
  • We never sell data, never show ads and never use your messages to train AI.
  • WhatsApp access keys and passwords are stored in a form no one can read.
  • You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion at any time.

Who we are

This policy is from GrowthDwar, a sole proprietorship, owned by Navneet Pandey, at 3-3-303, 1st floor, KesarKunj, Mahankali Street, Rangrez Bazar, Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Telangana 500003. In it, “we” means GrowthDwar and “you” means the business or person using GrowthDwar.

It covers:

  • our website, growthdwar.com;
  • the GrowthDwar app at app.growthdwar.com, where businesses run their website, bookings, WhatsApp and posters;
  • the websites we host for businesses, at addresses like yourshop.growthdwar.com or the business’s own web address.

Your data and your customers’ data

We handle two kinds of information.

  • About you. The details you give us when you sign up and use GrowthDwar. We decide how these are used, as this policy explains.
  • About your customers. The chats, contacts and bookings that come through your WhatsApp number and your website. These belong to your business. You decide what to collect and why, and we handle them only to run GrowthDwar for you.

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, your business is the “data fiduciary” for your customers’ information, and we are your “data processor”.

What we collect

When you sign up and use GrowthDwar

  • Your name, email address, phone number and password. Passwords are stored scrambled (hashed), so no one can read them, not even us.
  • Your business details, such as its name, type, address, opening hours, prices, logo and photos.
  • What you make in GrowthDwar: website text, posters, message templates, automatic replies, labels and notes.
  • The team members you invite, with their names, email addresses and roles.

When you connect WhatsApp

You connect your number through Meta’s official sign-up window. Meta then shares with us:

  • your WhatsApp Business account ID, phone number ID and business name;
  • an access key that lets GrowthDwar send and receive messages for that number. We store it encrypted.

While your number is connected, we store the messages you send and receive, your contacts’ names and numbers, delivery and read updates, and your message templates, so that you and your team can see them in one inbox. If you use calling, we keep a list of calls, and recordings if you switch recording on.

When people use your website

  • The bookings and enquiries visitors send: their name, phone number, message, and the day and time they pick.
  • Simple counts, such as how many people visited, opened the booking form or came from WhatsApp or Google. These counts don’t say who anyone is.

When you pay

Payments are handled by Razorpay. We receive the plan, amount and date, and whether the payment went through. We never see your full card number, UPI PIN or bank password.

Automatically

  • Your IP address, browser and device type, and when you log in, so we can keep accounts safe and fix problems.
  • Our hosting providers keep standard server logs.

How we use it

  • To run GrowthDwar: show your website, take bookings, send and receive the WhatsApp messages you ask us to, and make your posters.
  • To pass each booking and enquiry on to you, in your inbox and on WhatsApp.
  • To tell you about your account, for example when your trial is ending, a payment is due or there is a security alert.
  • To keep GrowthDwar safe, stop misuse and fix problems.
  • To improve GrowthDwar, using counts and totals rather than your customers’ details.
  • To follow the law.

We do not sell personal data. We do not show ads. We do not use your customers’ details for our own marketing, and we do not use your messages to train AI.

Information from Meta and WhatsApp

GrowthDwar uses the WhatsApp Business Platform, which is run by Meta. We use the information Meta shares with us only to run the WhatsApp features you turn on: connecting your number, sending and receiving messages and calls, and managing message templates. We don’t sell it, use it for ads or share it with anyone except as this policy describes.

Messages pass through Meta’s systems, and Meta handles them under its own rules: the WhatsApp Business Terms and Meta’s Privacy Policy.

You can remove GrowthDwar’s access at any time. Delete your data shows how.

Who we share it with

We share information only with companies that help us run GrowthDwar, only as much as they need, and only for that work:

  • Meta, to send and receive WhatsApp messages and calls.
  • Our hosting providers: servers in India for the app and the websites we host, and Vercel for growthdwar.com.
  • Razorpay, to take payments.
  • Google, for the fonts and maps shown on websites, and YouTube when a business adds a video.
  • AI providers, only when you use AI features. If you turn on AI replies, the customer’s message goes to the provider you choose (OpenAI, Anthropic or Google) so it can write the reply. If you use the AI ad maker, your text and product photo go to OpenAI so it can make the design.

We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect someone from harm, or if GrowthDwar is sold or merged. In that case this policy keeps applying to your information.

Where we keep it and for how long

Your information is kept on servers in India. We keep it while your account is open.

If you close your account, we delete your information within 30 days, except:

  • billing records, which we keep as long as tax law requires;
  • copies in backups, which are removed as those backups expire.

How we protect it

  • The app, growthdwar.com and every website we host use encrypted connections (HTTPS).
  • Passwords are hashed, and WhatsApp access keys are stored encrypted.
  • Logins use secure cookies that web pages can’t read.
  • Each team member has their own login, and you choose what they can see and do.
  • Only the people who run GrowthDwar can reach our servers, and only to support you or fix a problem.

No system is perfectly safe. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you, and the authorities, as the law requires.

Cookies

  • growthdwar.com uses no cookies for ads or tracking.
  • The GrowthDwar app uses cookies only to keep you logged in.
  • Websites we host set no cookies. They keep two small notes in the visitor’s own browser: where the visit came from, until the tab is closed, and whether the visitor has already seen a notice, if the business shows one.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • ask us to correct, complete or update it;
  • ask us to delete it;
  • withdraw consent you gave us, for example to hear from us;
  • name someone to act for you if you die or can’t act yourself;
  • complain to our grievance officer, and then to the Data Protection Board of India.

You can change most details yourself in the app. For anything else, write to us at info@growthdwar.com. We reply within 30 days.

Customers of businesses that use GrowthDwar

If you messaged a business on WhatsApp or booked on its website, and that business uses GrowthDwar, the business decides how your details are used. Contact the business first to see, change or delete them.

If you can’t reach the business, write to us at info@growthdwar.com. We will pass your request on and help the business respond.

To stop messages from a business, tell the business, or block its number in WhatsApp.

Children

GrowthDwar is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18. Businesses that serve children, such as schools and coaching classes, must get a parent’s permission where the law requires it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. For big changes, we will also tell you by email or in the app before they take effect.

For questions or complaints about your data, write to us at info@growthdwar.com. We reply within 30 days.
